Now THIS is funny ...

New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd has a very heartfelt column about the coming television season and the number of Mad Men-like shows on the schedule that will revisit the '60s, when the scotch was straight, the cigarettes were unfiltered and the women were barely dressed.

Now, I don't doubt that the latest spate of T&A TV is a sure sign of the end of the universe as we know it, but when the Times' computers pair up the column with this ad, I just have to laugh and laugh.

Ok, Ok, may be I DO need a smart car ...

Now, don't tell Zoe I said so, but she has been having a bit of trouble with performance anxiety and her driving test. Don't get me wrong, she DRIVES fine. Its the parallel parking that is proving to be difficult.

During practice, she is the Henri Matisse, the Leonardo da Vinci, the Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni of parallel parking. But, put her on the test course, and ... well, you get the idea.
Does anyone know where I could borrow a SmartCar for her next attempt? These things must be a dream to park.
